  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Butter an 8-inch square cake pan.
  2. Melt the butter over low heat and pour into a large mixing bowl. Add the honey and eggs, and beat well. Mix in the flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix in the walnuts and dates. Spread batter in pan
  3. Bake for 25 minutes in the preheated oven, or until light brown. Let cool for 5 to 10 minutes. Cut into bars and roll in confectioners' sugar.

I liked these bars, and they are very fast and easy to make. I didn't have any dates so used raisins. The second batch I left out the raisins and added mini choc. chips instead. Even Better!! ...

I baked these today. Super simple and Delicious. Followed the directions except I used Orange Blossom Natural Honey I brought back from Denmark! Don't over bake...EVER!
