  1. Mix together ground chicken, 1/4 cup water, grated onion, eggs, and salt and pepper. Mix in enough bread crumbs to make a soft, moldable mixture.
  2. Heat oil in a large skillet, and brown chicken mixture over medium heat.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry. Place mixture along the long edge of the pastry. Roll up, and tuck ends under. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet.
  4. Bake 425 degrees F (220 degrees C) for 12 to 15 minutes, or until golden.
  5. Meanwhile, prepare the mushroom sauce. Melt butter or margarine in a small pot. Stir in flour. Add soy sauce, onion soup mix, 1 cup water, and white wine; stir until thick. Stir in mushrooms. Pour over meat roll when serving.

This was very easy, different, and tasty. You can also vary the spices and ingredients. I has some chopped nuts on hand so I tossed them in as well. I'll be making this again soon!

This was good. But I did make some changes. Didn't have puff pastry-but did have phyllo, so I used that. I've never used ground chicken before, so this my first attempt, and it turned out gr...

This was a hit with my husband... Super easy to make and the gravy was amazing! I used ground beef instead of chicken. Next time I'll use a little less meat.

The gravey for this meal was absolutely amazing! It's going straight into my personal recipe book! But the pastry was so-so. It tasted good, but not anything I ever have to have again.
