"A Greek influenced spin on the great American classic grilled cheese. Simple, easy and soooo scrumptious. Great with pita chips and hummus. Add bell pepper, or substitute your favorite bread or cheese. These are also delicious cooked on a panini grill."

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Butter one side of each slice of bread. On the non buttered side of one slice, layer the feta cheese, Cheddar cheese, red onion and tomato. Top with the other slice of bread with the butter side out.
  2. Fry the sandwich until golden brown on each side, about 2 minutes per side. The second side always cooks faster.

Try it on a pita with cucumber, fewer onions, olives and tzatziki. With all of those it is an easy 5 stars.

Great for lunch! I love feta cheese so I had to try this. I sprinkled a little oregano on the tomatoe along with a bit of salt and pepper. Good stuff!

We were absolutely amazed that something so simple could be so tasty! This is, without doubt, the tastiest grilled cheese I have ever had. This is the only way I'll be making them in future. Tha...

What a fantastic Saturday afternoon lunch! Of course, we're completely nuts over anything with feta, so this was a big hit for us. I did add more feta than was called for, but I didn't use any c...

Great idea! I sprinled the inside of the sandwich with Turksih oregeno and paprika for a little more flavor. The onions overpowered the flavor of the feta cheese. Next time I will either sata...

Delicious! Didn't change a thing. It reminded me of egg sandwiches! Very rich!
