  1. Preheat oven to 500 degrees F.
  2. In a blender or food processor, combine Mann's Broccoli Cole Slaw, cooked brown rice, kidney beans, mushrooms, Parmesan cheese, egg whites and taco seasoning. Process, scraping down the sides of the work bowl once or twice with a rubber spatula, until the ingredients are finely chopped and well blended.
  3. Form mixture into 4 equal patties and place on a lightly oiled baking sheet. Bake until patties are firm and brown at the edges, about 10 minutes. To serve, use a spatula to invert the patty so browned-side faces up. (Alternatively, patties can be pan-fried in a skillet for 3-4 minutes per side.)

Okay, I have never made my own veggie burgers from scratch till now and I would totally recommend these Brocco Burgers to other vegetarians! It was easy, quick and fun!

This turned out to be a lot more work than I anticipated. I really didn't care for the burgers much. Sometimes it's a matter of perspective, as my vegetarian friend thought they were pretty good...

Taking cues from the PP, I used black beans, used one egg white, and also added some breadcrumbs - 1/4C or so. They were good.

The taste was ok but it certainly needed something to firm it up a little. Average recipe which needs some tinkering.
