  1. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Cook chops in butter, turning once to brown evenly.
  2. Pour in wine, and season with salt, pepper, rosemary, and garlic. Simmer, uncovered, for 20 minutes, or until chops are tender. Transfer pork chops to serving plates, and spoon sauce over the meat.

  • Aluminum foil can be used to keep food moist, cook it evenly, and make clean-up easier.

Very good recipe for pork chops. I used olive oil instead of butter to brown the chops, since I didn't have any wine on hand I used apple juice (the light apple flavor was great with the pork)...

AWESOME!!! But, 20 minutes is not long enough to cook. I also do this with a pork loin and cook in the crock pot, and everyone who tries it LOVES it! And it smells ssoooo good while it cooks...

the recipe works great, but try using fresh rosemary and it gets much better. also, with chops, do a 1 hour brine with salt and brown sugar to keep the meat moist and add flavor-it works great.

WOW! This is a fantastic recipe. Very easy and VERY delicious! I always use a fresh rosemary (you'll want to use about 3 tsp.)

This was very good. I made this twice. The second time I added some finely chopped onion and portabella mushroom when I added the sauce and it was even better.
