  1. Cut chicken into 1/2-in. strips; place in a 2-qt. microwave-safe dish. Cover and microwave on high for 3 minutes. Turn chicken and move center pieces to the out-side of the dish. Cover and microwave on high 3 minutes longer. Drain; set aside and keep warm.
  2. In another microwave-safe bowl, cover and microwave butter on high for 45 seconds or until melted. Stir in the flour until smooth. Gradually stir in the broth, wine and pepper; mix well. Add mushrooms and peas. Microwave, uncovered, on high for 5-7 minutes or until the vegetables are tender, stirring once. Stir in chicken; sprinkle with cheese. Microwave, uncovered, on high for 1-2 minutes or until the cheese is melted. Serve over linguine.

I really like this recipe, however I chose to use the stove top instead of the microwave. It was really good, and I got the kids to eat veggies.

This was great! The only changes I made were subbing broccoli for the peas and double up the sauce ingredients. Thanks for the recipe!

It's excellent, but I don't care for peas so next time I'll use broccoli instead, and I think it could use something like a dash of garlic powder or onion powder. Also I love pretty much all my ...

Microwave the chicken...really? This dish was very bland and the chicken was rubbery and the peas didn't go well with this dish either. Definitely taking this dish off of my menu.

Nice flavor, but even after doubling the sauce there wasn't enough. It is a nice light meal, but not for people who like sauce heavy pastas. Also, this would be very gland without garlic. But...
