  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook beef and onion until meat is no longer pink; drain. Remove from the heat. Stir in ketchup and salt; set aside.
  2. Combine biscuit mix and milk just until moistened. Turn onto a lightly floured surface and knead 6-8 times. Roll into a 10-in. circle; transfer to a greased 9-in. pie plate. Flute edges. Spoon meat mixture into crust. Sprinkle with tomatoes.
  3. Bake at 425 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese; bake 2 minutes longer or until cheese is melted.

Delicious! Great dish to make ahead of time and then just pop in oven when it is time. I made a few changes. Used Bisquick Mix and reduced the milk to 1/2 cup to correspond with their recipes....

Used 1/2 cup milk and a can of fire-roasted tomatoes(instead of fresh)as the changes. Added a can of drained black beans and sauteed garlic with the onions. Pretty good - got to watch the crus...
