  1. In a bowl, combine the beans, brown sugar, ketchup and onion. Transfer to a greased 1-1/2-qt. baking dish. Sprinkle with bacon. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 1-1/2 hours.

Absolutely wonderful recipe - just be careful you don't overbake it because if it dries out, it is ruined. Will make this again and again.

This was actually the worst by following the directions - I would've kept the liquid or just rinse and add some liquid and only cook for 30mins to heat. I did put it all together about 30 mins. ...

Absolutely wonderful recipe - just be careful you don't overbake it because if it dries out, it is ruined. Will make this again and again.

I have been using this recipe for several years and my husband loves it! Be forewarned, it IS sweet! Also, I agree that it is easy to overbake but delicious when done right.

I rate this recipe with 5 stars because the taste is excellent but what it does to the body deserves 10 stars!
