- In a small bowl, mix together tequila, melted butter, roasted garlic oil, lime juice, and minced garlic. Let stand for at least 15 minutes.
- Preheat grill for medium heat.
- Brush grate with vegetable oil. Brush mushroom slices with tequila mixture, and place on grill. Cook until the mushroom slices begin to wilt, then turn and brush with more of the tequila mixture. Cook for a few minutes, until mushrooms are tender. Watch carefully so they do not burn.

I tried this recipe and was very pleased with the flavor and texture of the mushrooms, baste several times to be sure the marinate stay on the slices, do not over cook.

This was a yummy recipe! I love portobello mushrooms and the tequila gave them a nice zip

I love this recipe, it makes a great sandwich with some pepper jack cheese on it.

We thought they were great. But then, we love tequila! Wish I'd had a margarita with them....
