  1. In a small bowl, mix vegetable oil, soy sauce, vinegar, ketchup, and crushed garlic. Place flank steak in a large resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over steak. Seal, and marinate in the refrigerator at least 3 hours.
  2. Preheat grill for high heat.
  3. Oil the grill grate. Place steaks on the grill, and discard marinade. Cook for 5 minutes per side, or to desired doneness.

I loved the marinade but next time I will use it on filet mignon or ribeyes-the flank steak is too tough for our tastes.

This recipe needs tweaked as it does not have enough of the ingredient to actually marinate. Would have to have more of the vinegar or lemon juice marinates, too. But, the entire recipe would ...
