  1. Bake the frozen pastry shells as instructed on the box. Each box contains six pastry shells. Using two boxes, all twelve will fit on a large baking sheet. After they are done, remove top and hollow out the inside of pastries. Set tops aside to use later as garnish.
  2. Slice strawberries lengthwise into medium-thin pieces. Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon sugar and set aside to chill in a medium bowl.
  3. In a large bowl, beat together cream cheese, 1/2 cup sugar and vanilla until smooth. In a separate large mixing bowl, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form (about 3 minutes). Fold whipped cream into cream cheese mixture. Set aside and chill.
  4. Fill each pastry with cream cheese until it just reaches the top. Spoon strawberries over top. Use the pastry tops as a garnish with a dollop of the cream cheese mixture and a strawberry slice on top.

Along with another recipe, the cream filling never came out the way it said it would.

WOW!! VERY IMPRESSIVE!! I made these for a small dinner party. Although there are a lot of steps to this recipe, they are all very easy and all can be done ahead. I filled the shells 4 hour...

This had a bunch of steps but it came out fabulous. I did not have the puff pastry shells - so I used Dunkin Hines white cake mix to make cupcakes (I prefer it to the yellow cake mix). I did not...

Such a tasty light dessert! I had guests when I served it and it was enjoyed by all.

I made the "cloud" portion of this recipe and it was delicious with fresh strawberries! Very easy and simple too. It definitely turned out looking elegant and difficult. :)

Much like a strawberry shortcake...only with puff pastry...and a little jazzed up since the whipped cream has the cream cheese in it.

Excellent. I just made these. The first time always takes longer, next time...and there WILL be a next time, it will be much quicker. I used both the puff pastry shells, which I have used bef...
