  1. Combine broccoli, strawberries, and Colby-Monterey Jack cheese in a large bowl. Whisk mayonnaise, sugar, and vinegar together in another bowl until blended; pour over broccoli mixture. Sprinkle almonds over broccoli salad and gently toss to coat. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until chilled, 1 to 2 hours.

02-29-16 ~ Great salad! I thought the combination of broccoli and strawberries sounded a little odd, but it works. And......it works, well! I made this up, as written, in the morning. At din...

I used broccoli, cauliflower, carrots (shredded), and strawberries. I also used vegan mayo and varied carrot colors which gave nice varied color for salad.
