  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together butter and brown sugar. Beat in the egg until well blended then stir in the flour. Roll the dough into small balls. Roll each ball in egg white then roll in chopped nuts to coat. Place cookies onto the prepared cookie sheet and make an indention in the center with your finger.
  3. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, until the edges turn golden. While cookies are hot press a chocolate kiss into the center indention. Let cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to wire racks to cool completely.

This little cookie was PERFECT. My mom and I cooked up 55 of them because we rolled them into small balls just big enough to fit a hersey kiss on them. They were bite size. My sister and I don't...

I followed this recipe exactly and would never do it again. After seeing that the batter was too runny I eventually added more flour, then had to add sugar, also a little vinilla... blah blah b...

These needed about 1/3 cup more flour and a teaspoon of vanilla. I would also chill this before you roll because it is too sticky otherwise. If I made these again, I would not press in the kiss ...

These cookies are very bland. I read some of the reviews and decided to add a few tablespoons of peanut butter for flavor. It didn't help much.
