Tastes just like Memère's! I like to sprinkle the top with a little paprika and parsley to jazz it up.
This is the shepherd's pie I grew up on. My grandma was French Canadian. I always wondered why all of the other shepherd's pies were so different than the one I'm used too.
Tasty and pretty quick. I omitted cream corn and added fresh baby carrots...simmered with ground beef.
Should let ground beed simmer about an hour, ya don't want tough gr. beef. Try it ,you'll like it.
