  1. Season tilapia fillets with taco seasoning.
  2. Heat oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium heat. Cook fish in hot oil until fish flakes easily with a fork, 3 to 4 minutes per side. Remove from heat and cut into bite-size pieces.
  3. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
  4. Heat taco shells in preheated oven until crisp, about 5 minutes.
  5. Mix yogurt, lime juice, sugar, lime zest, and salt together in a large bowl. Stir in coleslaw mix, cilantro, and jalapeno; let stand 5 minutes.
  6. Spoon about 1/4 cup fish and 1/4 cup coleslaw mixture into each taco shell. Top each with 1 tablespoon tomato.

These were just OK. Not a lot of flavor. Won't bother making again.

Tastes great. We added red wine vinegar and extra sugar to spice up the yogurt cole slaw. We also added diced avocado and diced tomatoes to the tacos. Yummy.

Everyone loved this recipe! It's an easy and healthy week night meal. The cole slaw topping is awesome.

Made these for Pinterest Faceless Frenzy November '13. We enjoyed them. I baked the fish rather than frying. I used taco seasoning 1 recipe from this site. Only other change was to use finely s...

Substituted light sour cream for the yogurt! Husband loved it, said they were the best fish tacos he's ever had!

I want to try this but what is coleslaw mix?

Coleslaw mix is chopped cabbage & carrots you can buy, it's in the fruit/veggie aisle around the bagged salad mixes. Hope that helps and good luck!

I loved the recipe. Only four stars because of pre fab tortillas. My only negative is why does everyone use those pre-fab tortillas? want to punch this up? Fry your own corn tortillas or use sof...

I hadn't tried this using yogurt for the sauce and I have to say I like it much better! It's healthier than sour cream that I've used in the past. LOVE THIS - and so do my children!
