"A low-fat, low-sugar trifle that the whole family will love! I find that the pudding is usually set by the time I am done adding the other layers so it can be eaten right away. If not, chill in the fridge until the pudding is set. Keep refrigerated (especially if it is warm.)"

  • Prep

  • Ready In

  1. Layer angel food cake in the bottom of a trifle bowl or large glass serving bowl.
  2. Whisk fat-free milk and vanilla pudding mix together in a bowl; pour over angel food layer. Sprinkle strawberries and pineapple over pudding layer; spoon whipped topping over fruit layer. Top with walnuts.

  • Cook's Notes:
  • This dessert can be made so many different ways. You can substitute a low fat chocolate cake for the angel food or use any flavor of pudding you like. I haven't found a fruit yet that doesn't taste good in here. You can even add a layer of crumbled vanilla wafer cookies on top of the pudding after it sets up.

Great recipe minus the walnuts and pineapples. I used rasberries, black berries, blue berries and a few strawberries on top. It was delicious!!! I like it best refrigerated overnight though. Tha...

Very easy to put together. I make this but use 1 large package of instant vanilla pudding & frozen fruit. I use strawberries, blueberries, & peaches for the fruit mix.

A quick, easy to make recipe that everyone loved. Drizzled Hershey's Chocolate syrup in the top.
