  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Spread 1 can chili into the bottom of a baking dish and top with 1 can beef tamales; repeat layering. Top mixture with cheese and diced onion. Spread salsa over the cheese layer.
  3. Bake in preheated oven until bubbly, about 25 minutes. Top with guacamole and sour cream to serve.
