  1. Cook linguine according to package directions. Drain. Set aside; keep warm.
  2. Meanwhile, melt butter in 10-inch skillet until sizzling; add onion, shrimp, green pepper, garlic, salt and pepper. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until shrimp turn pink (6 to 7 minutes).
  3. Stir whipping cream and flour together in small bowl until smooth; stir into shrimp mixture. Continue cooking until mixture just comes to a boil (about 1 minute). Stir in tomatoes and basil.
  4. Place hot, cooked pasta in large pasta bowl or on serving platter; top with shrimp mixture. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

Awesome! I too tripled the amount of whipping cream for the sauce but don't triple the flour. 1 tbsp. should still be enough but add just a tiny bit at a time if it's not otherwise you'll end ...

Had a good flavor...we added more Parmesean and whipping cream...Not enough of a sauce for us. Pretty good, though!

Yum, Yum, Yum...I thought this was a restaurant-quality recipe. I did agree that it needed more sauce , though, and next time I will probably make more.

I changed the recipe a bit by adding sun-dried tomatoes instead of roma. It made an incredible difference and made this already great recipe even better!!
