This was hugely satisfying over spaghetti squash. I subbed 1/2 T of honey for the called-for sucanat.
The flavor is very good. However, the gallon of water left it soupy rather than saucy. I would recommend tripling the amount of tomato sauce used and cut back on the water.
This is a wonderful recipe. I plan to use it at our next soup kitchen meal. To a previous reviewer - the gallon of water is for cooking the pasta.
Very good! Left out the meat (vegetarian daughter), and used gluten free pasta. Excellent.
