  1. Toss peas, bacon, raisins, Cheddar cheese, onion, and sunflower seeds together in a large bowl. Stir mayonnaise, vinegar, and sugar together in a small bowl; drizzle over the salad and toss to coat.
  2. Cover bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour.



This was very good and was well received at our Easter dinner. It is one of those salads that gets better the longer it sits. Leftovers the next day were just as good or even better than on da...

Skipped the raisins and sunflower seeds; and added chopped water chestnuts and more peas. Delicious!!!

I didn't have, nor do I like raisins, I substituted craisins. This is a wonderful salad, my family loved it, thank you for sharing.
