  1. Grease a 10x15-inch jelly roll pan.
  2. Mix confectioners' sugar, peanut butter, margarine, brown sugar, and vanilla together in a bowl. Press peanut butter mixture into the prepared pan.
  3. Melt chocolate chips in the top of a double boiler over simmering water, stirring frequently and scraping down the sides with a rubber spatula to avoid scorching.
  4. Pour melted chocolate evenly over the peanut butter layer. Let buckeye bars cool completely before cutting into squares.

I took them to work and everyone loved them. They were very mushy and we had to stick them back in the fridge half way through the day, though. I probably would go ahead and make actual buckey...

This recipe just needed alil tweaking in my opinion........31/2 cups of sifted powered sugar and they came out perfect ! They set up nice and came out of the pan intact :-) I gave them a 5 star ...

very very good..... more peanut buttery is leave out the brown sugar
