I tried this recipe twice because I really liked the idea of oats in the smoothie, but it was just too gritty for me. I blended for quite a while the second time to no avail, still gritty.

I used homemade jam and threw in a frozen banana. Kids drank all of this but did not care for the oatmeal in the smoothie.
