Awesome Italian Macaroni and Cheese

"This magical macaroni dish will make a disappearing act on the dinner table. I've not only served it up as a main dish during the week, but I've served it as a side dish on the Thanksgiving table. It's got ham and cheese, but I think the secret ingredients are the half-and-half and eggs. Don't forget to cook the noodles with the chicken bouillon cubes for a really flavorful noodle. Enjoy!"

In reviewing the ingredients, there's nothing in the recipe to make it "Italian", so I'm kinda scratching my head as to why it was added as part of the description. Made the recipe as written a...

Made it by the recipe with no changes except I used 16 oz of macaroni to stretch my budget. Came out good. A little on the plain side. Like Maria above I don't understand the "italian" part of t...
