Elvis Smoothie (Almond and Banana)

Elvis Smoothie (Almond and Banana)

"This is what Elvis would drink if he were alive and on a health kick! It's based off his love for the peanut butter and banana, but this has some substitutions and additions. Freeze the bananas the night before so that they take the place of the ice. If you add enough almond butter, this can taste exactly like banana bread. Or if you add chocolate or espresso, it tastes like bananas dipped in chocolate fondue. This can easily be a dessert smoothie!!"

This was much better than I expected. The key to this drink is the frozen sliced banana. It gives it that melted vanilla ice cream flavor. In my vitamix, I turned it to variable speed 10 and the...

I'm not a huge fan of smoothies because they don't fill me up but this one was great. The protein from the almond butter made me not miss eating a real meal. I may increase the almond butter n...

I halved the recipe for my breakfast this morning and found it to be refreshing and filling. I used an overly ripe banana I had in the freezer, so it was plenty sweet for me.

The only good thing about this drink was the bananas.

Instead of using almond butter, I used all natural peanut butter. I also used more peanut butter because The whole reason for me making the smoothie was because I wanted the banana and peanut bu...

Flavour is really good. I added ground almonds instead of almond butter to get more flavour. I also subtituted lactose free milk for my intolerence and cut the amount of milk in half to match my...

This is dessert it's amazing. Who needs a milkshake, not me.
