  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour an 8 inch square pan. Combine the flour, brown sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt in prepared pan. Mix well with a fork.
  2. Make three "wells" in the dry ingredients. Pour oil in the first, vinegar in the second, and vanilla in the third. Pour milk over the top and mix all ingredients with a fork until well blended. Pour chocolate chips over the top.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out with moist crumbs. Cool in pan for 15 minutes, then cut and serve directly from the pan.

This does taste like the crazy cake of years ago which is a general, but plain chocolate cake without a chocolate punch. The chocolate chips help, but it's better to mix them into the batter.

This cake is fabulous and so completely easy! I didn't want to run the risk of making a mess mixing it in the pan so I added everything but the chocolate chips to a bowl and mixed thoroughly. ...

Excellent for cravings! I used raspberry vinegar, and the fruity boost made my night.

This cake was so simple to prepare and it was chocolatey goodness! Do add a scoop of vanilla ice cream to this dessert for the ultimate treat! Thank you for this easy, one dish,no fuss, no muss...

Simple to make and perfect size for family of 3! Loved it :). Thanks for sharing with us.

This turned out very tasty. It did take a good bit longer to bake, however. After 35 minutes, the center was still liquid. I baked it about 7 minutes longer and tried the toothpick. The cake imm...
