  1. Place ham bone, potatoes, and carrots into a slow cooker. Top with tomato paste, chicken bouillon granules, and Creole and Italian seasonings.
  2. Pour in water as needed to cover; cook on High until potatoes and carrots are soft, 5 to 6 hours. Stir occasionally.

The family enjoyed it. It was a nice change from the ham and beans I usually fix.

i added northern beans diced tomatoes, peas,onions, garlic did not use the creole seasoning instead i added cayenne pepper. great recipe
