"Smooth, buttery, butterscotch concoction mean to resemble a drink you'd find in Harry Potter's magical world. It's perfect for a cool, snowy or rainy day and a great alternative to hot chocolate. You could top this with some whipped cream. Substitute butterscotch schnapps for a more adult version. You can also use soy milk in place of the milk if you prefer."

  1. Melt the butter with the honey in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir the milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and butterscotch topping into the butter mixture; heat until just about to boil and remove from heat. Whisk the cinnamon and hot chocolate powder into the mixture; pour into a mug to serve.

This was really yummy, in fact I had my brother who is skeptical of everything try it, and even he said it wasn't bad, which is huge. But it's very rich and sweet, and calorie wise, it's certain...

This is a delicious treat for a Potter fan. However, omit the white sugar. It is far sweet enough with the honey, butterscotch and hot chocolate powder.

This was delicious!!! I loved it! I thought that the sugar was fine, and I would keep it in the recipe. I don't think that I used as much honey though, and I used brown sugar. It was amazing...

This was pretty yummy. A little sweet for my hubby's liking so maybe next time I would try a little less hot chocolate powder. It was a nice change for kids from the regular hot chocolate drink.
