Tangy Horseradish Tomato Sauce For Meatballs

Tangy Horseradish Tomato Sauce For Meatballs

smitty

"I think this is a tangy, tasty, easy go-to sauce when I need it to be quick and dumped into the slow cooker. I used a recipe similar to this but it only had three of the ingredients and I added more items to make it flavorful and to our liking...hope you do too! We think it goes well with our favorite meatball recipe or as a sauce for our favorite meatloaf."

The slow cooker made it a breeze, no standing round stirring the pot. Great flavor of the sauce.

Totally unique recipe. Really enjoyed this zesty sauce for a change of pace. I was expecting it to be fairly spicy hot but it was not. Loved the subtle flavor of the horseradish. I made as writt...

I MADE THESE TONIGHT.WAS SO EXCITED TO TRY SOMETHING DIFFERENT,WAS A FAIL IN OUR HOUSE. MADE EXACTLY AS SAID.NEXT MEATBALL RECIPE , ILL JUST STICK WITH REGULAR SAUCE.

I omitted the tapioca and used a lot less water. Didn't have tomato soup, so I substituted tomato paste and a small bit of water. I also used Seasoned and Smooth V8. Flavours were great! Got lot...

4 stars for originality and flavor. This is more reminiscent of a trendy sunday brunch than Sunday dinner at Nonna's- if you're expecting an old fashioned italian "gravy" for your "maccheronies"...
