  1. Stir the soup, milk, black pepper, red pepper, beans and 2/3 cup onions in a 1 1/2-quart casserole.
  2. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 25 minutes or until the bean mixture is hot and bubbling. Stir the bean mixture. Sprinkle with the remaining onions.
  3. Bake for 5 minutes or until the onions are golden brown.



Beautiful color on this dish and it was fast and easy to toss together. This was good but it just wasn't the traditional flavor I was expecting. My husband didn't say anything so I don't know if...

I like to add broken up water chestnuts for a little crunch, as well.
