  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. Mix together 1 cup of rolled oats, 1 tablespoon of butter, and 2 tablespoons of brown sugar in a bowl; press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Lightly toss together the plums, white sugar, flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg in another bowl. Spread the plum mixture over the crust. Mix 1 cup of oats, 2 tablespoons of brown sugar, and 1 tablespoon of butter in a bowl until well combined, and sprinkle the crumble mixture over the top of the plums.

:( This WAS horribly dry. I wasted all my plums on it! I don't know how the recipe could possibly work. Even the baking dish size it called for didn't work.

very dry! waste of ingredients. I will never make this one again.

I've made this twice and guided by some of the suggestions, I added more fruit than the recipe calls for. I really like the oatmeal topping and it didn't come out dry. My first batch came out ...

Used a smaller and deeper pan and it was delicious!

This recipe needs to be re-vamped. The amount of butter/margarine and suger used is too little, as the the base of oats aren't gooey enough to stick together as a crumble, which is what the reci...

There isn't anything right about this recipe. I used an 8x8 pan instead of the large one - no way there would be enough of anything to fill the larger pan. It calls for a tablespoon of cinnamon ...
