  1. Preheat an oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. Mix sweet potatoes, eggnog, butter, sugar, salt, ginger, clove, orange zest, and pecans in a large bowl. Pour into a 2-quart baking dish.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven until heated through and golden on top, about 40 minutes.

I varied from great-grandma's recipe a couple years ago and used this one. Everyone loved it! I did use fresh sweet potatoes and skipped the sugar since eggnog is so sweet already.
