Banana Bonkers

Banana Bonkers

"Wonderful tall, cool banana drink that is great on the deck in the hot afternoon. Kids love this also. Optionally, you can mix in 3 eggs which have been whipped in the blender."

  1. Puree bananas in a blender or food processor. In a gallon pitcher combine pureed bananas, grapefruit juice, lemon sherbet and crushed ice. Stir and serve.

The children really enjoyed making and eating this recipe!

I can't really rate this recipe, but I just want to say that I tried it with mangoes instead of bananas and it turned out really great.

Was looking for banana, this is more citrusy, a.k.a grapefruit...was very refreshing however

I scaled the recipe down to two servings, I used lemon sorbet instead of lemon sherbet & I added a tbp. of honey...mixed it all up in the blender. Thanks Ann!
