  1. In a mixing bowl, combine milk and sugar. Beat in egg yolks, butter, vanilla and salt. Stir in cereal. Let mixture stand for 1/2 hour.
  2. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  3. Pour mixture into unbaked pie crust .
  4. Bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes. Then reduce oven temperature to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C) and bake for an additional 35 to 40 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.



Good, but way too sweet, even when we cut down the sugar to just under 1/2 cup. Next time I will use 1/4 cup or less so it is less sweet.
