"Actually, this is an excellent marinade for any steak. The marinade mainly consists of Worcestershire sauce and brown sugar. The sugar makes the steaks tender and gives just a hint of sweetness. I sometimes add some Dijon mustard or red pepper flakes for a little zing."

  1. Season the steaks with the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper, and set aside.
  2. Pour the Worcestershire sauce and brown sugar into a large resealable plastic bag, seal, and shake to mix. Pour half of the marinade into another large resealable bag. Place two steaks in each bag, and turn to coat. Squeeze out excess air, and seal the bags. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  3. Preheat grill for high heat. Drain the marinade from the steaks into a small saucepan, and bring to a boil; boil for several minutes.
  4. Brush grill grate with oil. Grill steaks 7 minutes per side, to desired doneness. Baste often with the boiled marinade during the final 5 minutes of cook time.

A tad too sweet for me. We like some other marinades better, but this was good.

I've used the recipe several times. My picky girlfriend who's not a steak lover enjoyed the steaks. She will only eat well done, so after I used the high heat to sear the meat, I moved the ste...

Oh, I just made this for a Valentine dinner for me and my hubby...it was great! I only marinated it for about 30 minutes and it was still delicious. I did add a squirt of spicy brown mustard (...

I'm not much of a cook, but I'm trying to change that. This was my first marinade I've ever made and it was incredibly simple, and very delicious! My boyfriend loved it!

This was great tasting and it wasn't that hard to make. Not a five minute project and thats ok but it was great.

My husband loved this marinade! This is now our favorite steak marinade. I added the dijon--great!
