  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine shrimp, kucai, sprouts, onion, flour, salt to taste and food coloring; mix well. Add enough water to make mixture resemble muffin batter; stir together.
  2. In a large saucepan or oil fryer, heat oil and drop batter by tablespoons into hot oil; fry until golden brown and serve.

Nice eaten immediately.

I used only 2 cups of flour and added half of teaspoon of baking powder.

As it stands, it's pretty bland. I ommitted two cups of flour and added 1 box of Jiffy corn bread mix and 1/2 cup corn meal. I used one egg, 3/4 lb of shrimp, and a bunch of chopped green onio...

As it stands, pretty bland. Throwing in lots more shrimp or cut the flour would greatly improve this recipe. Not a bad idea for quick snacky thing.
