  1. Combine flour, oats, brown sugar and salt in a small bowl until well combined. Blend in peanut butter and butter with a fork until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  2. Spray a 9 x 1 1/2-inch round microwave-safe baking dish with a no-stick spray. Place apples in prepared dish. Top with oat mixture. Microwave 14 to 16 minutes, turning dish 1/4 turn halfway through cook time, if necessary.
  3. Serve warm with cream or ice cream.

A very tasty apple crisp recipe. I modified it slightly increasing the peanut butter to 3 tablespoons and the brown sugar to 1 cup. Delicious with either ice cream or whipped cream.

a little dry and overly sweet. adding cream to serve with helped cut the sweet. I will say that my husband doesn't care for peanut butter, but he could not stop picking the topping and eating it...
