  1. Pour milk into a steaming pitcher and heat to 145 degrees F to 165 degrees F (65 to 70 degrees C) using the steaming wand. Measure the vanilla syrup into a large coffee mug. Brew espresso, then add to mug. Pour the steamed milk into the mug, using a spoon to hold back the foam. Spoon foam over the top.

Milk must be steamed first before shots are pulled. When all 3 ingrediants are combined at the same time the latte has more of a carmely taste rather than bitter.

When you steam the latte with the vanilla syrup the froth on top will taste awefully good.

You want to steam the milk before pulling the espresso shot to prevent the espresso from expiring. Typically I make this using 8 oz. of milk.
