Delicious Stroganoff

"This stroganoff is slightly different than your average stroganoff, as it contains no sour cream. It is flavorful and comforting. Serve over noodles. We had this the next day over rice, and it was just as good. I hope you and your family like it!"

  1. Brown the pork in a large skillet over medium heat for about 10 minutes, breaking up the pork as it cooks, until the meat is no longer pink inside. Stir in the onion, green pepper, and garlic, and cook and stir for another 10 minutes, until the onion is translucent. Sprinkle on the taco seasoning, stir to incorporate, then mix in the flour. Stir the mixture, pour in the beef broth, and bring to a boil. Cook and stir the mixture for about 5 more minutes, until it starts to thicken.
  2. Mix in the mushroom soup and milk, bring back to a boil, and add the American cheese. Cook and stir the stroganoff for 5 minutes, until the cheese has melted and the mixture is bubbling. Add salt and pepper to taste, and serve hot.

Easy to make, satisfying. I served this on egg noodles with good family reviews. When I make it again, (and I will make it again!) I would use 1 1/2 tablespons chili powder instead of 2, decre...

Pretty much followed the recipe except for skipping the milk. Even without it, I thickened with an additional 2T flour. For the record, 8 ounces egg noodles (uncooked) is too much for 4 servin...

loved this but my husband didn't.

This was excellent! I have never made stroanoff and didn't realize I should put this over noodles or rice or something - so we just ate it as it was...it was fantastic. Mine turned out soupy bu...

very nice twist to traditional stroganoff. Great on egg noodles.

Simple, quick and delicious. I had all the ingredients at hand and whipped it up in no time. Thanks very much!

This was really good and easy to make. I made a few alterations based on what I had on-hand. I only used half of the taco seasoning since I was essentially out and used 1 can condensed beef co...

This was very good and easy to make. I served over store bought egg noodles and was just what we were looking for.
