  1. In a bowl, combine the tuna, egg, onion, peanuts,dressing and lemon juice. Line each pita half with a lettuce leaf; stuff with tuna mixture.

Mmmmm! This was very good! I enjoyed it very much. The only thing I changed was instead of peanuts, I used natural almonds. I chopped them up very fine and mixed it in. It was great!

I made this as close to written as possible. I used a multi-grain sandwich round instead of a pita as I had them on hand. I did use peanuts, though I think many nuts would work well in this reci...

Great basic tuna sandwich, especially if you are on a tight schedule or you want to store the mix for lunches for a few days! I thought it was wonderful, thanks!

I also changed the peanuts to almonds, but that is because I love almonds, but I'm sure it's good with peanuts too.

So yummy! I usually put almonds in the other salads I make, but the peanuts were good! I also used a little onion powder since I did not have green onion, and it tasted fine! Thanks for sharing.

I thought this was excellent with the substitution of almonds for the peanuts. A very nice change.

This tuna sandwich was great! I never thought about subbing Ranch dressing for mayo before and I really like the change. This cured my tuna sandwich boredom.
