Creamed Cucumbers

"We moved here about 3 years ago and we love our home in the country. We plant a garden each year, making sure there's always plenty of cucumbers. I must admit I never really cared for cukes until my mother-in-law prepared them this way. Now they're one of my favorite vegetables."

Wow, I made this today with garden cucumbers and it is FANTASTIC. Dill sounds like a wonderful addition but it is fine as written.

Excellent! Made it exactly as written and it was a delicious addition to my Christmas dinner!
