  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; set aside. In another bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add egg and orange juice; beat well. Add 1/3 cup of flour mixture; beat until smooth. Mix in remaining flour mixture and the pineapple. Stir in raisins and walnuts. Pour into a greased 9-in. x 5-in. x 3-in. loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 60-70 minutes. Let cool in pan for 10 minutes. Remove to wire rack to cool completely.

I love this bread, it's very good. Now that I have tried it a couple of times, I changed up and put craisins in place of raisins and peaches in place of pineapples and it taste even better.

This was the most awesome bread i have ever made!!!! The only thing that i did differently was instead of orange juice I used orange tangerine juice. And it turned out wonderful! I served it wit...

My sister and I made this bread and every one liked it. It's a great afternoon snack with tea or coffee. Though next time I would omit pineapples altogether; just a personal preference otherwise...

I followed this recipe to a T. It was flavorless and very dry...I kept waiting for some spark of goodness but it never came....maybe good with some major tweeking.
