Crackle Cookies

"THIS cookie recipe comes close to the wonderful taste of chocolate that Mama was able to produce in her cakes and cookies. Because of the 'crackles' in these cookies, my granddaughter tells me I've made a mistake when I bake them. 'But they taste so good,' she adds. -Ruth Cain, Hartselle, Alabama"

I have a great recipe for these, but thought it be fun to try a new one. The dough was very sticky and hard to work with. The recipe only made 9 cookies, which given the amount of work, was no...

I loved them. My co workers loved them. My boyfriend loved them. I'm guessing that "9 servings" means 3 cookies for each person, because I had close to 30 cookies by the time I was done (which I...

this was more like a 3.5 star for me. I'm not sure if I did something wrong, but the flavor seemed a bit off or lacking. Also, the texture was not what I was expecting at all. I may try them ...

Excellent and moist.

I'm definitely going to need to make them smaller, I made about 19 cookies out of it thinking I made them small enough and they turned out the size of regular cookies and almost baked into 1 lar...

Very nice. Next time, I would make mine smaller - 'pop in your mouth' size.

This was our favorite cookie growing up! Mom would make them often. Now I make them for my family! YUM
