  1. In a bread machine pan, place all ingredients in order suggested by manufacturer. Select basic bread setting. Choose crust color and loaf size if available. Bake according to bread machine directions (check dough after 5 minutes of mixing; add 1 to 2 tablespoons water or flour if needed).

I used all-purpose flour instead of bread flour and it still turned out great. Consistency was fine for me with original recipe, didn't need any extra milk.

The bread is beautiful, unfortunately, it has way too much onion flavor. I would decrease the onion by at least half.

Agree that it needs more milk. Add extra 1/4. I, however, unimpressed with the flavor. Not a bread to serve cold, wasn't too much better hot. Likely will not make again.
