Carrot Raisin Salad

Carrot Raisin Salad

"IF YOU like carrots, here's a great recipe. It's easy to prepare and healthy. My mother made it every holiday, using either regular or golden raisins. This was one of the first recipes I tried on my husband when we were newlyweds. He was skeptical because he didn't like raisins, but now this is one of his favorite salads. -Marlene Reilly, Nescopeck, Pennsylvania"

A nice, basic recipe that I would make a few adjustments to. Next time I would cut the plain yogurt down to 1/4 cup, the mayo down to 1 tablespoon and make the cinnamon optional.

I liked this recipe. I made a large bowl for my family and they ate every bite. I did add twice the honey listed in this recipe. I think the cinnamon adds a nice twist. I will keep this recipe a...

This is a great healthy way to make Carrot Raisin salad. I made a couple slight substitutions. I used plain greek yogurt and soaked my golden raisins in water for about 15 minutes so they woul...

This is a winner. I doubled the quantity but otherwise followed it to the letter. My family loved it but they didn't know there was mayo in there. (Everyone hates mayo but me). Honestly, I...

Tastes great without the mayo. This is a winner.

This recipe was quick and delicious! I agree with the other writer - a dash of cinnamon really made it pop! Thank you for sharing this.

Really good! I made this just as listed, substituting only lowfat mayo and yoghurt for the full fat kind. We really liked it. Nice and healthy, too! I think this is something kids might even eat!

Very good! I did increase the mayo quite a bit though. I probably used almost equal parts of mayo and yogurt. Really great salad :)

I didn't follow this recipe exactly, but I really like the honey and cinnamon in it.
