  1. Spoon ice cream into a large bowl. Dissolve gelatin in water; pour over the ice cream and blend well. Pour into parfait glasses. Refrigerate until set, about 1-1/2 hours.


  • Editor's Note: An ungreased 11-in. x 7-in. x 2-in. pan may be used instead of the parfait glasses. Cut into squares to serve.

easy, quick and a hit...the beauty of this is the versatility...can add fresh fruit or different flavors....I used a 3oz package of Jello and poured this recipe on top of it...fantastic summer d...

this is a delicious treat, but even tho I used less than 2 cups of water, it was a little "soft". I think I will use a little less ice cream with the next batch.
