  1. Cook spinach according to package directions; drain well. Stir in cream cheese, 2 tablespoons butter and salt. Transfer to a greased 1-qt. baking dish. Melt remaining butter; toss with bread crumbs. Sprinkle over spinach mixture. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees F for 20 minutes or until lightly browned.

This recipe was too thick...very bland...the bread crumb topping wasn't very good either.

I have tried many recipes to get my daughter to love spinach again, this was it. I added garlic powder and put french fried onions on top of the bread crumbs.

I make this same thing and we LOVE IT. Add some garlic salt and YUM!

This is requested at every family holiday dinner we have. Even the young children love it. There is never any left over.
