Oatmeal Crispies

  1. In a mixing bowl, cream shortening and sugars. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla. Combine the remaining ingredients; gradually add to creamed mixture.
  2. Drop by tablespoonfuls 2 in. apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Flatten with a fork. Bake at 350 degrees F for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove to wire racks to cool.

Amazing. I followed the instructions exactly and I am so glad I did. The recipe makes 70 or so cookies and the kids and I may eat them all before dinner at the rate we are currently going.
