  1. In a mixing bowl, cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in milk, honey and banana. Combine flour, baking powder and salt; gradually add to the creamed mixture. Stir in chocolate chips.
  2. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls 2 in. apart onto lightly greased baking sheets. Flatten with a glass dipped in sugar. Bake at 350 degrees F for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Remove to wire racks to cool.

I think there was a bit too much flour, very cake like...I also added chopped walnuts. Overall, pretty good :-)

The cookies came out exactly as described, good texture, definite banana flavor. They are VERY different, so if you're looking for traditional, skip this.
