Horseradish Honey Ham

Horseradish Honey Ham

"When my husband and I first tasted this delicious ham, we were surprised to learn that the sauce included horseradish. That secret ingredient definitely is the key to its tangy taste. I serve it for Easter and Christmas."

  1. Cut ham into 1/4-in. slices and tie with kitchen string. Place ham on a rack in a shallow roasting pan. Combine honey and cloves; drizzle over ham. Bake, uncovered, at 325 degrees F for 1-1/2 to 2 hours or until a meat thermometer reads 140 degrees F and ham is heated through, basting often with drippings.
  2. Meanwhile, combine the brown sugar, horseradish and lemon juice. Increase oven temperature to 400 degrees F. Baste ham with brown sugar sauce, allowing sauce to drip down between the slices. Bake, uncovered, for 15-20 minutes.

Love it! I always combine everything and throw it all in the crock pot before I leave in the morning, and its ready and waiting for us when we get home!

Made for Christmas and it was excellent. Didn't have cloves but it was still great. I'm not a big fan of ham, but I liked this better than the turkey. Thank you!

wonderful, can't tell that there is horseradish in it, but I think it would not be the same with out. Watch the ham, with all the sugar it gets dark quick.

I love this ham. My husband is not much of a ham eater and even he thought it was great. The second time I made it, I took it to a potluck picnic and it got rave reviews. Thanks for the recipe.

Delicious! I made this glaze to go over a nine lb bone-in ham and it was wonderful! I was worried that the horseradish would be too spicy but the oven really mellows out the flavor. Will definit...

This was excellent!! Used a small fat free ham, added some garlic, reduced the cloves a bit; as per Beckah, threw it all in the slow cooker. Family loved it, moist and tender. Thanks for the i...

easy recipe, but I guess I don't like horseradish like I used to.

Tasted pretty good but felt like it was missing something.
