  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, heat butter on high for 45 seconds or until melted. Stir in flour until smooth. Gradually stir in milk. Microwave, uncovered, on high for 3-4 minutes or until thickened, stirring every minute. Stir in beef; cook on high for 1 minute or until heated through. Serve on toast.

Was a bit too salty, I think the amount of chipped beef in the recipe could be cut in half for a more creamier chipped beef that I prefer.

This is such a great recipe. My mom always added a layer of sliced hard boiled eggs, and a layer of fresh cooked asparagus on top of the buttered toast. Then covered it with the sauce. YUM!
